Welcome to my Cabin Journey! I would have never believed that I would be going down this path at this time inn my life, but what a joy it has been. When I walked in the front door for the first time, I immediately fell in love with this place. Nested among tall trees, standing on the deck is almost like being in a tree house. This vintage cabin is such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the mountain air. Great for family gatherings. Guests say “This has been the best place I have ever stayed!” The cabin is well stocked with the perfect blend of rustic and modern convenience with an added personal touch. Take in the view and enjoy nature from inside the cabin or on the deck. Located close to Palomar Observatory and Palomar State Park, a great location for hiking, biking or sledding and snow shoeing in winter.

This spacious 1,400 sq ft cabin sleeps 8 comfortably. Skylights in every room keep the cabin filled with natural light.


The Living room has a leather couch and upholstered chairs to relax in front of the original fireplace built in 1923. The mantle and fireplace is built with local lumber and stone.


The kitchen is stocked with pantry basic spices and modern appliances such as drip coffee maker, microwave, air fryer, crock pot, toaster, waffle maker, rice cooker and plenty of pots and pans to prepare your favorite foods.

The vintage cook stove provides plenty of warmth for the dining and living room area. But if keeping a fire burning is not your thing, the wall heater will do the trick. 

The Dining area seats 8 comfortably for meals or your favorite board game.


Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and laundry room are located on the main floor with a spiral staircase taking you to the upstairs master bedroom. All the bedrooms are equipped with soft organic cotton sheets and plenty of pillows and blankets for your comfort. The kids will enjoy the Twin bunk beds.


Across the hall from the kids bunk bed room is the Queen bedroom. This room has a private sitting area with oversized leather chair and ottoman great for catching up with work or relaxing with a book. There is a propane wall heater for those chilly nights. From the bed, you have a view of the deck and tall trees.


Up the spiral stairs to the Master King bedroom, the views don’t disappoint. Stay warm and cozy with the wood stove during winter months. The eagles nest alcove offers 180 degree view of the surrounding area and is equipped with a telescope for star gazing. Relax with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine in the rockers.


-The Dome room includes daybed, DVD player, Wi-Fi and satellite TV keep you in touch with the outside world while you enjoy the warmth of the wood stove or relax with a good movie. Nestle up on the day bed or leather couch to enjoy a book or take in the view of the 80 ft. cedar trees.
-The outside deck includes a propane grill and fire pit with plenty of outdoor seating and dining table.


Take a walk down the trail or a hike at the state park. There are many things that make this cabin and surrounding area unique and charming you don’t want to miss out!
